The Problem
Our muscular system becomes imbalanced through prolonged sitting, screen use, injuries, and physical or emotional trauma. This imbalance leads to joint compression and misuse, causing strain and pain.
The Solution
Unwind tension and create space in your body to relieve pressure on your joints. Rebuild natural movement patterns, develop deep strength, and restore muscle elasticity to create a balanced and resilient frame.
I’ve always been fascinated by the body - its anatomy, its patterns, how we move, and why we get injured or unwell.
But my interest hasn’t just been academic - it’s been deeply personal.
Between the ages of 3 and 25, I broke seven bones on five separate occasions and from age 16, I lived with persistent back, hip, neck and shoulder pain. I tried everything: strength work, stretching, massage, chiropractic, physio. Some of it helped a little, but nothing truly resolved it. My body remained a place of tension, stiffness, and vulnerability.
If you’ve ever felt like your body is working against you, I know exactly what that feels like - and, I know that there is a way out!
I finally learned how to work with my body, not against it - to see it as a whole interconnected system rather than separate parts.
Within weeks of starting Foundation Training, my hips felt freer and my back pain disappeared. As I continued, a deeply internal, coordinated strength began to emerge alongside a calming sense of release. I stopped bracing, started to trust my body again and my confidence grew and grew.
Since 2015, I’ve been teaching hundreds of people to do the same.
Foundation Training is the heart of my work, though my approach continues to evolve. Over the years, I’ve woven in holistic anatomy education (Anatomy Trains) to help people understand and connect with how their bodies move. And, more recently, I’ve begun integrating elements of somatic therapy - exploring not just the physical, but the emotional holding patterns that shape how we feel inside.
I am always learning and refining my knowledge, and I believe that to be truly free in our movement, we need to know how to let go of tension - both physically and emotionally. From a place of release, we can rebuild deep, dynamic and balanced strength, and discover freedom, ease and enjoyment in our bodies.
